Oshkosh YMCA Yoga Teacher Training is an empowering and transformational journey into the art, science, and magic of yoga. This intensive experience is designed to expand your yoga practice and ultimately yourself.

Two unique arcs combine to give you a thorough foundational education and Yoga Alliance 200-hour Certification.

Oshkosh YMCA Yoga Teacher Training is for those desiring to deepen their practice and ultimately share yoga through the art of teaching. Considered content empowers you and joyful community encourages you.

Oshkosh YMCA Yoga Teacher Training students commit time, energy, and resources to delve below the surface of a yoga practice to uncover their authentic selves and natural capabilities. They systematically observe, learn from, and release blocks and fears while deepening their understanding of a holistic yoga practice.

Oshkosh YMCA Yoga Teacher Training students undergo a period of intense but spacious study into yoga asana, pranayama and meditation practice, history, philosophy, anatomy, physiology, teaching methodology, professional and personal development and so much more. Through their willingness to commit and follow through these Yoga Teacher training students emerge from this container with a depth of knowledge and understanding which they can bring into their lives.

Expert guest teachers including Chakra Studies with Erica Jago, Transformational Breathwork and Breath Anatomy with Cass Ghiorse, MetaAnatomy with Kristin Leal, and Ayurveda with Dr. Stephanie Matulle, an updated coursework, and expanded options for personal practice, integration, and mentorship.

Requirements

3-5 years of dedicated and consistent yoga practice.

Access to the internet. Ideally a personal computer and/or mobile device.

October 2, 2026- May 1, 2027
This is a high-touch, high-value experience that costs $2200. This is an investment in yourself and the return is high. Pay in full discount and payment plan options available.

Complete schedule will be given via a google calendar link at the start of the program and is subject to change.

Students meet Fridays 11:30am-1:00pm on zoom Saturdays (1st & 3rd) 9am-1pm, (2nd & 4th) 9-11am in-person. To accommodate personal schedules, all sessions are recorded.

Though this course is avocational in nature - students will be asked to complete requirements - including completion of coursework, writing assignments, a final exam, and a practicum - to graduate and receive their certification.
